Hi, I’m Jeannette. I’m 54 but feel 40! I’m a high-energy, no-excuses coach who believes every woman has the power to feel strong, confident, and fully alive again.

Since 2018, I’ve been igniting the energy of thousands across Canada, helping them rediscover a love for fitness through The Great Canadian Running Challenge.

My mission is to help women lead healthier lives in every way: physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I want you to feel strong — and Be Fit Forever.

My Approach to Being Fit Forever

These are the simple daily habits that keep me healthy, happy, and grounded — mind, body and soul.

  1. I weigh in every day. This allows me to monitor my weight, understand my cycles, and stay connected to my goals so I never stray far from my healthiest self again.
  2. I never count calories. Instead, I focus on eating nutritious, wholesome meals that nourish my body.
  3. I start every morning with protein. No sugary cereal or carb overload — just coffee and eggs, or coffee and a protein shake to fuel my day.
  4. I move my body every single day. Whether it’s a short run, a long run, yoga, or strength training — I commit to at least 20 minutes of movement daily.
  5. I sit in silence every day. I give myself at least 5 minutes to lay or sit quietly, feel my heart beating, and connect deeply with myself.
  6. I do not drink alcohol. It’s toxic for my body and mind, and removing it has changed my life.
  7. I laugh every single day. And I make sure someone around me laughs too — laughter truly is the best medicine.
  8. I don’t take things too seriously. I don’t let challenges or situations outside of my control weigh me down anymore.
  9. I look for beauty in nature. I slow down, breathe it in, and feel incredibly blessed to be fully alive.
  10. I read a self-help book every day. Even one page gives me something to reflect on and helps me become a stronger, better version of myself.
